Finding Airline Tickets Under 100 Dollars
I have always been a sucker for a bargain, so when I found an airline ticket for under 100 dollars, I actually had to brag. It was not an airline tickets anywhere exotic, but nonetheless the price could not be beat. It was a ticket to South Carolina, and it was just in the nick of time. There was a bluegrass festival going on there, and I was desperate to see it. Some very good friends of mine were going to be there playing, and they had told me that I could play along if I showed up. I knew that I would have to find cheap tickets if I was going to make it. After all, I was pretty broke.
I searched online for a while and with it being winter time, there were many cheap airline tickets available, but none under 100 dollars. I was not surprised by this fact, but I was determined to find something a little bit cheaper. A good friend of mine works in the airline business, so I asked him to give me a hand. He was usually pretty hesitant about doing favors, but he was also a big fan of bluegrass so he pulled some strings. Because he was an employee of the airlines, he could easily find an airline ticket for under 100 dollars. It was all just a matter of transferring the ticket to me. After a little bit of manipulation, he was able to do it.
Searching online from time to time does help find airline tickets under 100 dollars. Not very often, but these deals do come up. When I came back from the trip, I looked around out of curiosity. The destinations I wanted to travel to began at 200 per flight with many of them quite a bit higher. Nonetheless, I did find an airline ticket for under 100 dollars into Idaho. Despite the fact that Idaho is only a few hours drive for me, the savings makes a weekend getaway a real possibility.
