Loft Beds and a Tiny House
Here in Helena, Montana, we have created an complete area that lives in the conservatively formed tumbleweed home designs. Now these new houses are a giant change from what we as Americans have become used to. Instead of 3 and 4,000 square foot homes, what we have here is closer to 3, or 400 square foot.
Now, I know what your wondering, how in the world do you exist in that? Well, the quick fix was loft bed frames, upright showers, microwave ovens, small stoves, small refrigerators, micro, small, and more micro. We have revealed that in these tight times, and in comparison to other global standards, these tinier options are a genuine solution. The loft beds, create a large amount of space.
Some of these models come with the popular Murphy bed functions, but the Morphy’s don’t double as livable spaces, in most cases. I couldn’t sell these things, unless I had lived in them myself, so for one years, I lived in the 250sq foot model. Now, granted, I’m a single guy, and I have been a bachelor for the past ten years, but it really wasn’t that uncomfortable at all. I had this really great kids metal loft bed, and just about every feature available, and I was good.
My only problem, was the wind. When the winds kicked up to about 50, or 60 miles an hour, or better, it was a bit uncomfortable, but apart from that, I rather enjoyed it! Now when you begin thinking about a family, you can consider the bigger models, and also consider joining them together, just like Legos.
